Yumi - Clear Obitsu Official Unveiling

Yumi has waited a long time for this. Today is the day of her official unveiling at the Barbie Bazaar BMAA compitition.

Her chainmail is all hand woven, her outfit, shoes and even her weapons were all hand made. Her hair is a cutom blend of three colors of seran hair incuding a glow in the dark white. Yumi's face was painted with different shades of blue and silver and her tatoos are metallic blue.

I am such a starwars geek. I love it when they come out with the new toys. If only I could afford to get the new doll of Anikin that you can transform into the burned ani or even darth vader. Ok back on track Sideshow is now taking pre-orders for their new Luke Skyker figure so check him out.

I finally finished my 23cm Obitsu doll. Isn't she lovely!!! My 3 year old named her Andrea. She was hand rooted with Katsilk hair from Restoredoll.com. Restoredoll has to be one of the easiest companies to deal with. They will create custom blends like this one for you and their orders always arrive in a timely manner. Gotta love that.

Real weapons for the 1/6 scale dollies

Adam Olson, the gentleman who commissioned Rowen, made these weapons for a doll that I am making for the upcomming Barbie Bizzar doll compitition. I think he did a great job on the blades. Love the spear, gotta get one for myself. I figured that I would show these of and give a little contact information in case someone else wanted custom weapons designed for their dolls. New Dolls Added To The Gallery

Well I finally got around to completing two new dolls.

The first is an SD version of Kenshin Himura from Ruroni Kenshin. I used a Kelly Club Tommy doll and completely re-rooted him and gave him a faceup to match one of Kenshin's looks from the manga. I even hand made his outfit. To see him please click here or go to the Gallery.

The other is an Obitsu doll that was commissioned by a gentleman who wanted to make her into a warrior. I really love the way her eyes turned out but you can see for yourself by clicking here or going to my gallery.

Issues with Firefox

If you use Firefox you may have noticed some issues with this site. The splash page for example looks all out of wack, and the header on this page is a bit off, and you will probably not be able to view some of the more dynamic aspects of this site. Here are a few reasons why: Firstly Firefox is one of the best, most secure browsers on the market, that being said, in order to keep it that way it generally does not permit javascript. There have been issues of naughty people hinding viruses and such in js. Now for the header....the problem seems to have something to do with the code for the header and the code for the blog interfering with each other. You will not notice this problem on any of the other pages of this site and I have no idea how to fix it. If you have any ideas please let me know. As for the splash page...well that is also written in js and so I am really surprised that you were even able to view it. You most likely will not be able to hear the bg music even if you install the Quick Time software that your browser is asking for so don't bother with it unless you want to install that on you computer. After several attempts I have been unable to make it work so I will save you the heartache, enjoy the silence ;)

Wow The New Site is Finally Posted

Well so here it is. All of my hard work finally pays off, mostly. I am
including an auction site rather than a store. I figure that the cost
of maintaining a store is actually a bit more than an auction site and
other people are welcome to post their items here as well. I will run
my auction site as more of a democracy. Sellers will be given the right
to make tough financial decisions along with me through a voting
system. I will start things off by asking sellers to pay a low yearly
membership fee. Buyer memberships are free. I will post more details
here when the time comes. In the mean time look around and tell me what
you think so far. ;-)
